Twist and Shout Bacon Milkshake

Here at Bacon Today, we’re big advocates of eating what you want, when you want. We see no reason why you shouldn’t make milkshakes after Labor Day. A boozy milkshake is the perfect breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, any time of year, and for some reason, we really crave ice cream in the dead of winter. Just because there’s a blizzard outside and it’s 2:17 in the morning doesn’t mean you can’t whip up a nice boozy bacon milkshake. The Crumbly Cupcake has developed an amazing copy cat recipe of Hard Rock Cafe’s Twist and Shout Shake! This sweet and salty, flavor-packed milkshake is a delicious treat meant to be enjoyed any time the need for a milkshake overwhelms you. The alcohol makes it the perfect party beverage, the ice cream and different syrups make it the perfect dessert and the bacon, well, as usual, the bacon makes it perfect. Ingredients:

Cooked bacon for garnish
2 ounces stout beer (Guinness)
1 ounce spiced rum
½ ounce dark crème de cacao liqueur
½ ounce chocolate syrup
½ ounce salted caramel syrup
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrups

Directions:

Combine ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Drizzle chocolate and caramel syrups inside tall glasses, then pour shake in.
Garnish with whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrups, and lots of crumbled extra crispy bacon.
