Oh Europe, you love your bacon just like the rest of the world, and Romania, you are no exception. I just found this recipe for bean soup with smoked bacon over at European Cuisines.
Among the list of 10 or 11 ingredients, the recipe calls for a magical 100g (3.5 oz) of smoked bacon. It says that you could use bacon bones instead, but why cheapen it? If you’re going to go for gold and make a bacon soup, use real bacon. Please.
