Have you noticed lately that your trips to the “local coffee shop” (i.e. Starbucks), are getting more and more expensive? This little piggy likes the blended coffee drinks, and they are awfully pricy, and the after 2:00 pm, $2 drink receipt special unfortunately doesn’t last forever.
The other day I was hankerin’ for a blended coffee beverage (i.e. a Frappuccino), and decided to make my own. And I truly made it “my own” by adding Torani’s Bacon Flavoring Syrup. Yup, bacon in a blended coffee drink is delicioso. That’s Italian for frickin’ delicious, in case you didn’t know. Someone should start a betting pool on how long it will take Starbucks to jump onboard the bacon trend…
Maple Bacon Frappe Ingredients
MAKES 2 SERVINGS
1 1/2 to 2 cups ice cubes
3/4 cup strong brew coffee (we recommend Maple Bacon Coffee, of course!)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Torani Bacon Flavoring Syrup
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
Whipped Cream (optional)
1. Brew coffee. Allow to cool.
2. Add the ingredients into blender in the order listed above. Blend all ingredients until frothy and smooth. If your drink is too watery, add a couple ice cubes. If it’s too icy, add a splash more of coffee.
3. Pour into desired glasses and top with whipped cream and a drizzle of maple syrup.
