Green Bacon and Ham!

If your Elementary School was anything like mine then each year on St. Patrick’s Day they served Green Eggs and Ham.  I ate almost anything as a child, but I just couldn’t bring myself to eat those green eggs for some reason.  My kids, on the other hand, love the book, and  they love to eat the green eggs when my wife makes them for St. Patrick’s Day.  But what about the bacon Dr. Seuss?  How about some Green Bacon and Ham?  How about some good old fashioned green bacon for St. Patrick’s day?  The more I think about this the more I realize I couldn’t eat it, as much as I love bacon, I couldn’t bring myself to eat green Bacon.  But there is one Bacon I know that I could down for St. Patrick’s Day.

Last night I got an email from Bacon Freak that was featuring some new products for St. Patricks Day.  One of those new items is St. Patricks Day Bacon.  No it’s not green if you are wondering.  You can buy it on its own or as a part of a gift bundle.  The bacon is called “St. Patrick’s Irish Kiss Hickory Smoked Bacon” and you can bet that on St. Patricks day while my kids will be eating green eggs, I will be getting my grub on with some of that sweet meat candy.  My favorite gift basket is called, “St. Patrick’s Morning After Recovery Basket” filled with coffee, pancake mix, bacon, pretzels, and even a beer candle.  You can check out all the St. Patrick’s day items here at Bacon Freak

If you see me on the 17th remember one thing, Kiss Me because I’m Irish!

Why do you guys not have a section about the history of bacon? or a Facts (FAQ) page? This site has potential. It’s the 3rd link that pops up when you search for bacon on GOOGLE.

Quite insightful submit. Never believed that it was this easy after all. I had spent a advantageous deal of my time searching for somebody to explain this topic clearly and you’re the only one that ever did that. Kudos to you! Maintain it up
