In our 5th year, we are getting better each year! Started as the small neighborhood festival, Glendale Beer Wine and Food Festival, we have transformed into the much anticipated Beer Wine and Food Festival – Bacon Edition. This 2 day festival, nestled into historic Glendale Square in Glendale, OH is a celebration of beer, wine, entertainment and Cincinnati’s rich “Porkopolis” history.
Join us as we make another memorable year.
All proceeds go directly to funding pediatric cancer research through the incredible efforts of The Cure Starts Now Foundation. Many volunteers have been impacted by cancer in their children or family and are happy to use this event to make a difference in the lives of kids battling cancer.
In the 1800’s Cincinnati was the hub of meat processing due to it’s proximity to the canal and riverway. Farmers would herd their hogs through the streets of Cincinnati to be processed, thus earning our fair city the nickname “Porkopolis”. Today Cincinnati has grown to enbrace this history and now the pig is a beloved symbol of Cincinnati and our festival today!
