Easy Bacon and Beef Stroganoff
October 5, 2010 5:00 am 3 CommentsMy kids love this meal. It’s easy to make and theres never any leftovers. I recommend adding 4-6 slices of bacon as the bacon fat adds a nice flavor to the ground beef as they cook together.
This particular recipe will feed a group of 6-8. For larger groups, add some additional ground beef. Serve this meal by spooning the Easy Bacon and Beef Stroganoff over some fresh egg noodles. Enjoy!
1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3 slices bacon, diced
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
Step 1 – Place the bacon and ground beef in a large skillet; cook over medium
heat, stirring, until ground beef is well browned. As you are stirring the hamburger,
add onion and cook until onion is just tender.
Step 2 – Drain off excess fat. Blend in the flour, salt, paprika, pepper, and
cream of mushroom soup. Cook over low heat, uncovered, for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Toss noodles into the water once it starts boiling.
Step 3 – While stroganoff is on low, drain noodles and put a serving on each plate.
Step 4 – Go back to your almost complete stroganoff and add the sour cream
and mix it well. Top the noodles with a serving of the stroganoff. Yummy!

Hmmm… maybe post a real picture of the recipe?? LOL !! This picture has chunks or fillets of beef and red peppers in it. Sure does not look like hamburger 🙂
Is there more to Step 3’s beginning other than Stroganoff with Ketchup? There’s no mention of ketchup anywhere else in the recipe.
Yes…two mistakes in this recipe posting although I’ll say it’s delicious! The pic is wrong and ketchup? Totally wrong…
