Best Bacon Summer Salads
Summer is the ideal season for salads. The hot weather makes us crave meals that don’t involve much (if any) cooking. It’s also during summer that some of us decide to try and lose a few lbs. and salads can be a good way to “eat healthier.”
These salads go beyond the typical bacon salad recipes like the Blue Cheese Wedge and the Cobb. Using a mix of simple and sometimes unusual ingredients, these salads will satisfy your cravings for bacon and healthier dishes that don’t require much cooking. We recommend cooking a couple of lbs. of bacon and storing the cooked slices in the fridge. When you need a few slices, just pull ‘em out, microwave for 15 seconds and add ‘em to your salad.
