The growth in the popularity of bacon festivals across the US continues to delight us. Last year, our Baconfest 2014 post had 53 festivals listed by the end of 2014. This year, we’ve already got 43 festivals on this list and it was initially created in early February. That is a good indicator that the number of bacon festivals that will be held in 2015 is going to blow 2014 right out of the water!

Bacon festivals are an opportunity for bacon lovers to unite in a celebration of All Things Bacon. With bacon eating contests, bacon weddings, plenty of bacon food samples and plenty of beer and cocktails, bacon festivals are devoted to sharing and expressing our mutual love for the almightiest meat. From tiny towns to large cities, there’s bound to be a baconfest coming to a town near you. If you’ve never experienced a bacon fest, it’s time you tried one out, even if that means it’s road trip time! Check the list below to see if one is coming to a city even remotely close to you. We’ll be updating this list throughout 2015, so check back often.
