Three Doritos Bacon Chili Nachos

Did you know that November 6th is National Nachos Day? Yeah! That’s pretty freakin’ sweet if you ask us. Nachos are probably one of our favorite ways to combine carbs, melty cheese, and tasty meats all in one giant snack. We wanted to celebrate this special day the only way we know how, with bacon. And, what the heck, why not kick things up by adding some of those precious Doritos® chips in while we’re at it.

We united Doritos® Nacho Cheese, Doritos® Cool Ranch®, and Doritos® Sweet Spicy Chili chips and loaded them up with cheese, chili, and bacon to create a flavor explosion your mouth had no idea it needed. You are welcome. Make a plate full of these for your next party or the next time you binge-watch your favorite shows. Trust us, it’s worth the calorie intake.

Three Doritos Chili Bacon Nachos

Doritos Bacon Chili Nachos

  • 1 bag Doritos- Nacho Cheese
  • 1 bag Dorito- Cool Ranch
  • 1 bag Doritos- Spicy Sweet Chili
  • 1 can of your preferred Chili
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked, roughly chopped
  • 2-3 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F.
  2. Heat the chili until warmed. Layer a small amount of each of the 3 chips onto a large plate or platter. Sprinkle half of there shredded cheese on top of the chips. Drop spoonfuls of half of the chili all over the chips. Sprinkle half of the bacon onto the chili. Add another layer of the 3 kinds of chips followed by the rest of the chili, bacon, and shredded cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes until cheese is melty.
  3. Remove from oven and eat as it or top with a few dollops of sour cream and any desired nacho toppings like chopped bell pepper, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. Serve immediately and worry about the regret later!
