Sure the name is a mouthful. But the dish itself is even more-so.
You may have seen this amazing restaurant on Travel Channel’s popular show, Man vs. Food. Hash House a Go Go serves up some giant and tasty breakfast foods all day long. After watching this episode of Man vs. Food, Bacon Today just had to try this restaurant out.
So we ventured off to Las Vegas in our rental car, crankin’ out the tunes from old Sinatra himself. The whole drive, our taste buds anxiously awaited some satellite dish sized plates of food. We tried not salivating too much. We knew it was a rental.
Upon walking in, we could smell the aroma of savory dishes, as well as that sweet scent of maple and pancakes. Hash House a Go Go definitely has that diner vibe that makes you feel comfortable and your belly well taken care of.
Of course we ordered the Sage Fried Chicken Benedict with Bacon. Oh. So. Good. This fried chicken even has corn flakes in the batter, then topped with fresh spinach, market tomato, BACON, griddled mash potatoes, scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, then lastly topped with a Chipotle cream sauce.
Are you drooling yet? Aside from the amount of delicious food items this baby packs, it’s also the size of a grizzly bear’s paw. Okay, that may not be totally accurate… but we do know that dish was huge.
So, if you’re in the San Diego or Las Vegas area, please check Hash House a Go Go out. You won’t be disappointed.
