Russian Bacon

Russia plays an important role in the BT community. Out of over 178 countries that have checked out BT so far, they rank 47th! Way to go, Russia!

According to EnglishRussia.com, the stuff is called “Salo”. It’s kept in the freezer, eaten raw, and is considered to increase in Smaste™ as its fat content rises.

    I do like the manner in which you have presented this concern and it does indeed offer us some fodder for thought. On the other hand, because of just what I have experienced, I basically wish when the actual responses pile on that people today continue to be on point and don’t get started upon a tirade regarding some other news of the day. All the same, thank you for this outstanding point and whilst I do not really agree with the idea in totality, I regard the standpoint.

    It would seem that Salo would not rate very high on the Smaste scale, by virtue of not being cooked.
    Of course, vodka probably helps.

    Russian bacon is not raw, but instead is smoked, it simply is not fried crisp. Another EnglishRussia distortion.
