Even though National Pig Day has passed (its March 1 for those in the know), we here at Bacon Today are always celebrating pre-bacon. We know that you love bacon as much as us and we want you to be able to afford bacon every day of the year. While the government is trying to stimulate the economy, you can do your part by changing your spending habits…with a little help from a pig.
Introducing FeedThePig.org, a web site with “fun tools, a quiz, tons of tips and other resources. They will all help you think through your spending and saving habits, identify ways you can start saving and commit to making changes that will reduce your debt and grow your savings.”
FeedThePig.org is a site sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The Advertising Council. According to the site, “the goal of the campaign is to encourage and help Americans aged 25 to 34 to take control of their personal finances.” We must also add that the target audience for the campaign will be able to afford a whole lot more bacon as a result of better fianancial management…and more bacon is never a bad thing.
