<p>On December 24 each year, a day-long celebration of the travels of Mary &amp; Joseph takes place through the Ecuadorian town of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuenca,_Ecuador">Cuenca</a>. What&#8217;s the have to do with bacon you ask? Take a look at the following photo.</p>
<p><a href="http://bacontoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/pase-del-nino-ecuador.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1659" title="pase-del-nino-ecuador" src="http://bacontoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/pase-del-nino-ecuador-300x225.jpg" alt="pase-del-nino-ecuador" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>Have you ever seen a pig celebrated so gloriously? Any festival, parade, or other holiday event that gives it up to mother pork with such in-your-face and colorful zest is someplace that we want to be.</p>
<p>See you all in Ecuador this Christmas!</p>
