Bacon Today reader Victoria sent in some photos of her two dogs, Rosie & Poppi, enjoying some of these bacon-like dog bones she got from BaconFreak.com.
The bones “are the bones that remain after we slice our country hams,” according to BaconFreak.com. While not truly bacon dog bones, the Boss Hog Bad to the Bone Dog Bones are close enough to bacon for us to say heck yeah when we saw the story.
Victoria said that her dogs are often quite picky about their dog treats, but with these Bad to the Bone Dog Bones her pooches went hog wild and devoured the bones in one lip-smacking sitting.
“Rosie & Poppi just loved the dog bones,” said Victoria. “They gobbled them up like they were candy and came back begging for more!”
If your dogs like bones, we’re guessing they’ll enjoy these bones from BaconFreak.com. Give them a try and send in some photos of your pups munching on the treats!
That’s right, now your pooches can be fed as they should — with bacon. Beef, bacon, and cheese to be exact. Retriever brand dog food comes in a variety of flavors but you know what your pet is really going to love.
Just imagine the look on Rover’s face when he hears the crack of that tin lid. I’m betting he’ll quickly turn down every other food in favor of the taste of sweet, sweet bacon in a baste of beef & cheese. That mouth-watering goodness will become Rover’s main meal for years to come.
Regular price for this K9 delicacy is only 89 cents. Think about that, you can make man’s best friend infinitely happy for under a buck a day. What’s stopping you? Run out to your local Tractor Supply Co. and get your pup what he or she deserves — bacon.
It turns out that if you’re a lost dog in New Jersey, the only way to get found is if your owners love you enough to give you a trail of bacon to follow. This was the case with BT’s current favorite animal, Bear the Dog.
Bear was adopted and then ran away without a supply of bacon to tide him over. Two weeks later, Bear’s adopted owner had a brilliant idea – lead him home with a trail of bacon.
Who could forget this 1990′s advertising masterpiece? If you said, “I did,” or if you’re too young to have seen it yourself, then I dedicate to you this bacony throwback.
