			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Usually if someone makes something out of bacon we get pretty excited about sharing the result with you. In this case, though, it&#8217;s the beginning of their story that I felt was newsworthy.</p>
<p>Kim W. shot us this link to the Commanche Club. It&#8217;s an post written by a guy who had made his first <a href="http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&amp;t=17772&amp;start=0">bacon explosion</a>. You can read the post to see how he followed the original recipe and ended up with his own heart-attack-in-a-tube, but I wanted to draw your attention to the very first thing he said and the very first picture he posted:</p>
<p>&#8220;It all started last night when my wife came home with a mysterious box. I got up to investigate as she laid it on the counter with a *thump*. It was a cardboard box, and inside it, 10 lbs of bacon.&#8221;</p>

<p>I love to see something as ridiculous as a box of bacon. It reminds me that there is still good in this world.</p>
