At Fatburger, you can order a Hypocrite – a veggie burger topped with crispy strips of bacon.
Has anyone tried this? There is a Fatburger a block from my house. I now know what I’m doing for International Bacon Day on September 5…heading to Fatburger to order a Hybocrite.

I have never tried this at a restaurant. However I often hit a point where I am totally out of food and all that seems to be left in my freezer is some random vegetarians stash of veggie burgers from a cookout, and an emergency pound of bacon. Wrapping bacon around the veggie burger and cooking it on the grill real slow is remarkably good, even better with a touch of cheese. It seems as though a good portion of the bacon flavor gets sucked in to the veggie burger like a sponge.
