The International Bacon Blog gave us a nod a while back and asked why newspapers don’t pick us up as a daily column.
Why, indeed? Come on, newspapers of the world. It’s time you listened to the masses and picked us up. Every newspaper needs bacon, and bacon is exactly what we have. It’s here, it’s pre-cooked and it’s ready for you.
If you want more of your favorite meat, be sure to call your local paper and say, “I want to read about Bacon Today.”
Who knows? You just might see a coulumn about bacon tomorrow.

I think it’s probably because mostly old people read the news paper and they don’t appreciate bacon like we do.
I guess we’ll need to start a campaign to get young people into the habit of reading newspapers.
I can see it now… “Newspapers. They’re like the internet – for your fingers.”
well really, most will just end up reading the online version anyways. That’s the only form of newspaper I’ve read in the last 5 years.
I love reading these articles because they’re short but ifnoarmtive.
