I don’t understand what all the hype is about surrounding real bacon. There are plenty of delicious bacon alternatives, and I hear they taste the same.
You are wrong. Bacon from a pig tastes about 1000 times better than turkey bacon or whatever other alternatives you are talking about.

Ture Keybacahn – you are correct, you don’t understand! Simply put, fake bacon is Just Not Bacon. There can be no substitute for the real thing.
Additionally, if you do not want to eat bacon, why on earth would you want to eat something that isn’t bacon, but pretends to be? Just eat something else! I hear that for non-bacon eaters, food does exist that is not bacon, and they claim it is perfectly palatable.
I for one couldn’t imagine a world without bacon though…
I’ve always preferred morningstar’s veggie bacon…I really do not like real bacon but the veggie bacon has a taste and texture that I find quite tasty.
Grant, what is this non-bacon food you speak of? Can you give us any examples?
