First thing first – I stole the title of this article from Kerry McCray over at the Modesto Bee. I may only have a sliver of journalistic integrity, but that sliver includes not plagarizing the fine work of others. In this case, however, I thought that Kerry’s title was so awesome that it warranted an homage.
It’s quite true – anything that starts with bacon is good.
I wanted to share her article with you not because it has a great recipe for bacon chili (I actually couldn’t find the recipe anywhere in her article – if you find it, please let me know) but rather because she tells such a heartfelt and personal story about her experience with making the bacon chili. It’s the Holiday season, and whether you make your bacon-filled dishes for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Festivus, you should make it with pure joy and love of bacon.
Happy Holidays!
– Mike

Oh sweet! Thanks, Phraktyl!
There was a link to a related story that appears to be the chili.

Umm… I think Hannukah is unlikely to be bacon filled in the home of many who celebrate that holiday.
Except for my wife and kids. Nothing makes those three Jews happier than when I cook a pound of bacon… Well, they’re happier – or at least happier longer – when I cook two pounds of bacon.
