There’s a new company on the scene and it’s bacon candies are causing folks from New York City to San Diego to salivate with delight. That company is The Sticky Pig.

The Sticky Pig is the brainchild of Tara Simon (AKA The Bacon Vixen), a graphic designer turned Pilates instructor turned confectioner of bacon candy. Her creations are simply outstanding – from the idea to the looks to the combination of flavors. Here are a just a few examples of the treats with which to tempt your tastebuds…

The Elvis – “Based on Elvis’ favorite sandwich filled with peanut butter, banana and bacon. Ours is filled with peanut butter, fresh bananas with a hint of lemon and honey and topped with peanut butter buttercream and crunchy organic banana chips.”

Raspberry Jelly Doughnut – Sweet bacon filled with fresh raspberries, dates and crunchy, raw almonds and dusted with snow white powdered sugar from the bacon fairy princess. Sticky and delicious!

S’mores - No camp fire necessary, just a burning desire for chocolate, graham crackers, marshmallows and our little twist – chocolate hazelnut butter. Graham cracker crusted candied bacon filled with chocolate and hazelnut butter and topped with even more chocolate, a tiny marshmallow and dusted with graham cracker crumbs.
